About Our Services & Cost Calculator — Orient Translating (Moscow)

Translation Bureau in Moscow — fast, official, notarially certified

Our Moscow office is located near Belorusskaya metro — 1st Yamskogo Polya St, 1, bldg 2, entrance B, open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. Orient Translating has been operating since 2015; our head office is in Saint Petersburg, but the full range of services is available here in Moscow as well.

Most requests at the Moscow office are for notarial translation — passports, diplomas, birth and marriage certificates, driver's licences. Certification is handled by our partner notary on site, so there's no need to visit a separate office before submitting documents to Moscow consulates and government bodies.

A certified translation is normally ready within one business day, and if time is tight there's an urgent option with a 1.5-hour turnaround — useful before an MFC or consulate appointment.

Beyond notarial work, our Moscow team handles written translation — contracts, technical documentation, medical records — as well as website and app localisation. We also offer oral interpretation, consecutive and simultaneous, for business negotiations, court proceedings and conferences.

We cover 40+ language pairs, from English and German to Finnish, Chinese, Arabic and Hebrew. If a document needs to be recognised abroad, we can arrange an apostille on the original and translate the full package.

A dedicated migration services team supports foreign nationals through temporary residence (RVP), permanent residency (VNJ) and Russian citizenship applications — from preparing the document package to submission.

5,000+ translations completed since 2015. If a translation is rejected due to our error — we will redo it free of charge as a priority.

The cost of notarial translation depends on the document type and language. Passport translation (main page) with notary certification — from 2,000 ₽, all pages — from 2,200 ₽. Diploma with transcript — from 4,800 ₽, birth or marriage certificate — from 2,000 ₽, driver's licence — from 2,000 ₽. For rare languages (Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew) prices are higher. Use our calculator or ask a manager — the estimate is free and takes a few minutes.
The standard turnaround for notarial translation is 1–2 business days. If your order is placed before 13:00, the translation can be ready by end of the same day. Urgent translation is available within 1.5 hours — ideal when you have a same-day appointment at a consulate or government office. Urgent service is available for most standard documents: passports, certificates, diplomas and driver's licences.
No, you don't need to visit. Simply send a scan or photo of your document via WhatsApp, Telegram or email — that's enough to start the translation. You can collect the completed certified translation from our Moscow office near Belorusskaya metro or from our Saint Petersburg office near Petrogradskaya metro, or have it delivered by courier. We also ship via Russian Post to any city.
We translate into 40+ languages. Most popular: English, German, French, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Uzbek, Tajik, Kazakh, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew, Turkish, Portuguese. We translate both from foreign languages into Russian and from Russian into foreign languages. For rare languages, please contact our manager — we handle most unusual language pairs.
An apostille is a special stamp that certifies the authenticity of an official document for recognition in another country. You need an apostille when using Russian documents abroad: for visa applications, university enrolment, residency permits, marriage registration or employment. We assist with apostille preparation and provide notarial translation of apostilled documents. Important: the apostille is placed on the original document, so you will need to provide it.
Yes. Over 10 years we have completed more than 5,000 translations — quality is our reputation, not a formality. If a translation is rejected by a government office, consulate or other organisation due to our error — we will redo it free of charge as a priority. We also provide free consultation on document legalisation requirements so your translation is accepted first time.
Yes, our Moscow office is open every day, including Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 19:00. This is especially useful if you need a translation urgently before a trip or a consulate appointment — we work weekends at the same speed as weekdays. You can submit a request on our website or via WhatsApp and Telegram at any time.
Beyond document translation, we offer several related services. Migration services — we help foreign nationals obtain temporary residence (RVP), permanent residency (VNJ) and Russian citizenship: consultations, document preparation and full support. Website and app localisation — translation of interfaces and content adapted for the target audience's culture. Oral interpretation — consecutive and simultaneous — for business negotiations, court hearings, medical consultations and conferences.
